Resident Student Parking
Please note: Fall semester students do not need to register their vehicles for any campus.
A resident student is a student who resides on campus in the dormitories.
Parking Enforcement
Parking enforcement begins approximately 2 weeks following the start of each semester to ensure students have time to register for parking.
Fall and Spring semesters: A transportation fee is placed on the student's tuition bill at the time the student registers for classes if they are taking at least one on-campus class.
Summer and Intersession semesters: Students are not charged a parking registration fee until after they have registered their vehicle(s) online. The payments for the transportation fee or parking registration are taken by the Student Accounts Office. The payments for parking violations are taken by the Parking Services Office.
RESIDENT LOTS
Parking lots R, S and T are designated for resident students only. Between the hours of midnight and 6:00 am, all resident students must be parked in one of those three lots. Anyone parked outside of those lots will be subject to ticketing.
Parking lots C, D, E, F, G, H, H1, J M, M1 and Q are also designated for all students on the Brighton Campus between the hours of 6:00 am and midnight. After 5:00 pm, lots A and K on the Brighton Campus are also available for all students who have a valid semester parking registration.
Registered students are prohibited from parking in the visitor’s lot (lot V) for any reason.
